Love Anaheim Neighborhood Care Bag Assembly [FILLED]

On Love Anaheim’s Volunteer Serve Day, join the Neighborhood Care Bag Assembly Team to prepare 1000 Small Care Bags that will be distributed by MBC’s neighbors as an encouragement. Care Bags will be assembled in attractive bags and will include multiple items, and some packing.
Steps to sign up:
1) Visit Love Anaheim's website to sign up: https://www.loveanaheim.org/communityservice
Look for the Aug 31, 2024 event named “2a. Neighborhood Care Bag Assembly Team”.
2) Once your spot is secured on Love Anaheim's website, return to Track It Forward to sign up.
3) Sign up at the Love Anaheim website AND Track It Forward is required to participate at the event.

Event instructions: 1) Please arrive on time (by 8:30am), check in, turn in the signed waiver form, meet the volunteer team, receive volunteer instructions, and assist with assembling hygiene bags.
2) Please log your hours via Track It Forward mobile app when you check in. On the Hour Log form, tap on “Add Verification” at the bottom of the form, then scroll to the bottom of the page and tap on “Get GPS”, then hit “Submit” at the bottom of the form.
3) If you arrive late or leave early by over 15 minutes, please log only the actual hours worked in Track It Forward, rounded to nearest half an hour. (For ex., your shift is 3.5 hours long, but you arrive 20 minutes late and stay till the end of the shift, then you would log 3 hours in Track It Forward.)
Dress Code: Blue SLOBs T-shirt and closed-toe shoes. This is an outdoor project, so wear sunscreen and hat if needed. Bring water.

To download the app to your mobile device:
1. Search for “TrackItForward” in App Store or Google Play. The app might be called “Volunteer Time Tracking” instead. The developer is named OurVolts, LLC. The logo is in green color, in a shape similar to a tree. (See logo attached.)
2. After downloading, search for an organization named Fullerton Service League of Boys.
3. Log in using your login credentials for Track It Forward.
4. Opt in for text messaging and input your cell phone number.
5. Sign up for the event on TIF mobile app, if you haven’t already. If you are signed up, look for your signup in the Event section under the main menu.
6. After arriving at the event location on the day of event, please open the mobile app and select Hour Log from the main menu. On the form, choose “Add Verifications” at the bottom, then choose “Verifications: GPS” to provide your location. (Note: Digital Hour Log must be done at the event site. If the GPS pin is showing a location other than the event site, your service hours logged may be reduced unless you can find people to corroborate your attendance.)
7. To cancel an event signup or log hours for a past event, please do not use the mobile app. Please visit www.TrackItForward.com and log in to your account to cancel an upcoming event or log time for a past event. Thank you.
