Welcome! We first want to thank you for taking the time to volunteer with us. Your passion to serve the community is so appreciated, we would not be able to do this without your help! During this volunteer session, we will first begin with mental health harm reduction training to learn more about the signs of a mental health crisis and how to intervene. Then, you will be putting together 1,000 Care Kits for our unhoused and low-income neighbors in Los Angeles County while enjoying free coffee from Helping Hands Coffee!

Sign up below and once we receive your information, our volunteer manager will contact you to provide details about parking, donations, and anything else that you may need to know.

All members of your group must sign up individually before the event. For safety reasons we cannot allow walk-ins the day of.

Lastly, it costs us $1.08/kit and we would love to put together 1,000 care kits! Any donation will be appreciated to cover the cost of Care Kit supplies. You may make a donation at the event, we accept cash, venmo, zelle, paypal, debit/credit cards. You can also donate at our website tenahealth.org
