Casino Fundraiser for Grande Prairie and Area Safe Communities
Thank you for volunteering to help fundraise to support our mission to educate children, youth, and their families about injury prevention and personal safety.

Volunteers:
must be 18 years of age or older.
Cannot Gamble during the two days of the fundraising event at the casino.
Cannot leave the premises during their shift (except to smoke)
Can only work one position during the two day event (if banker first day, must be banker on day two if working)
MUST be on time!
During shift change noone can leave until their replacement arrives and has been set up in the position.
Must be Sober.

Please note: An Advisor will be present throughout the event to help everyone learn and be comfortable in their positions.

10:45am - 8:00pm
SPARE
Available for shift if needed - will be called if someone is unable to make a shift scheduled above. Reserve. Position to be filled will depend on shift needing covered.

General Manager (Cash Cage)
General Manager - Covers for cashier, banker and chip runner for their breaks. Is responsible for taking care of things at the Casino. Making sure volunteers are doing their jobs and following Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission Rules

Banker (Cash Cage)
Banker - provides chips for the tables as requested by pit staff, provides cash for the cashier as needed. This person will be using a computer and computer knowledge is an asset.

Chip Runner - verifies chips on tables for opening and closing games. Takes chips from the banker and delivers to the tables. Will be using a handhed computer. Could also be carrying heavy chip fills.

At end of night GM will take on additional role of Counter (using a counting machine to count money)

At end of night Banker will take on role of Amalgamator - use counting machine to count money, bundle money into bundles of 100.
