Hike Leaders: Christmas Bird Count
Saturday, December 16 2023
Help us find our local birds while adding to over a century of community science data!
We are looking for volunteers to take a hike with us and help guide any visitors who join on the hike. If no one else shows, just enjoy a birdwatching hike, if a crowd gathers, lead them on a hike and help point out or ID any birds you see.
Want to participate but can't lead a hike? Come to the Collins Learning Center, grab a trail map, a pencil, and a birding checklist or download the free eBird App. Hike the scheduled trail, ID as many birds as you can, and report your findings over a cup of hot chocolate when you finish the hike! Take as much or as little time as you'd like.
