Service: This is a senior service project that involves companionship during a monthly worship experience. It will be followed by contact with that individual through calls, cards, etc. We suggest that you check on your partner during the month, perhaps send a card or some other gesture of kindness until the next first Sunday worship. The amount of contacts are up to you, but we do ask that you document at least four other contacts during the month to earn the five hour service credit. If you prefer to make plans to visit on other occasions, that is fine, but we suggest that you not take on any responsibility for which you will not be able to fulfill or that might involve any activity that is not appropriate. Those might include giving rides or purchasing food items without proper safety measures, and so on. Having contact with them and staying in touch is the priority.
Again, you will earn up to five service hours for each monthly visit. The first worship experience will be March 2nd.

Instructions: Come to Big Bethel Village Chapel on the third floor on the first Sunday of the month at 2:30. You must arrive on time because meditation at 2:45, followed by worship at 3:00 p.m. The facility is gated, and no one will be able to allow entry after 2:45. From 2:30 to 2:45 you will be given a short orientation and assigned a senior with whom you will attend the chapel worship. At that time, you will exchange phone numbers, get introduced, chat and get to know your senior partner.
