College Park Community Get out to Vote Sign Waving at the intersection of Old National and Flat Shoals

Saturday, March 02 2024

TEO GOTV College Park and East Point Sign Waving Campaign Saturday, March 2, 2024
The idea is for us to gather near a MARTA bus stop, on the sidewalk, in our service areas, and simply stand with handmade signs that share info about the Georgia Primary Election and the need to get out to vote. We will rotate bus stops throughout East Point and College Park. The sidewalks that the bus stops are located on, are public property. This activity is legal and encouraged by the sorority. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. does not endorse candidates or political parties.

Rules of Engagement
 We are encouraging people to vote in the Georgia Primary Election on March 12th.
 We are not talking to people unless they have a question.
 We are not talking to people or sorors about presidential candidates or political parties.
 We will direct people to the Secretary of State website if they have questions of where to vote.
