Band Camp Week One 7/17- 7/21

Pre Camp Week. Mon.-Thurs 7:30 am-4:30 pm Friday 7:30 am-9 pm
Leadership, Guard & Percussion Meet Monday & Tuesday, and any veterans are welcome for Fundamentals.
Wednesday-Friday full band attendance is mandatory. Marching Drill begins with full music.
Volunteers needed to Monitor Practice Field sessions, inside Band Sectionals, Band Room during Lunch Break,
staff lunches set up & break down, and donated snacks, water, and fruit that are provided to participants.
Also, an equipment manager is greatly needed to help coordinate and implement Percussion equipment to and from the field.

Band Camp Field Volunteer: Ensure students stay hydrated & monitor students on the field with a positive attitude. Apply Sunscreen, bug spray, and cooling towels if needed. Document any unsanctioned student breaks( if overheated, feeling nauseous, hurt, etc.) *Usually a quick water break/cooling towel 10mins and encourage the student to get back on the field. Serve snacks. Keep Water & Gatorade, Coolers Full. **Need to bring own bag chair to Practice Field, meet in Band Room, and travel with students.
