Junior Guild of Rocky Mount

Peacemakers will hold their annual Toy Sale on December 4th-5th. The event will be adult-only this year with no kid activities. A new addition will be a live nativity scene. Time slots available on Track It Forward are mornings (8-12am) and afternoon (12-4pm). If you have volunteered with Peacemakers previously for this event and know which area you would like to work, please note this in Track It Forward (e.g. gift wrapping). They will also need volunteers in new roles such as COVID requirements like taking temps. If you cannot make the Dec 4th-5th weekend and want to volunteer the week before (pricing and sorting toys), you may contact Donna Clifton at (252) 212-5044. Please sign up ASAP as the projected # of volunteers will be reported back to Peacemakers.
Peacemakers currently has a remote/virtual learning program for school aged kids from 10:00-4:30pm weekdays. Volunteers are welcomed for any hours during this time. Likewise, they have a mentoring program to connect a child one-on-one with a volunteer for schoolwork assistance and other support. Please contact Michelle McNeil at (252) 212-5044 if interested.
