Volunteer for the 2025 Contra Costa Homeless Point In Time (PIT) Count
Thursday, January 30th 5:30am-9:30am
The Point in Time Count is a snapshot of the number of families and individuals experiencing homelessness in the county on ONE night. It is required by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development for communities receiving homeless service funding to help determine how much funding communities receive to help with homelessness.

Special Notes:
1) This is not an Athenian-led service activity, but it can count as a 10th Grade Service Activity.
2) For Juniors and Seniors already working with organizations that serve this population, this is thematically linked to your service project and could be counted as part of your project.
3) If you participate and will be arriving to campus tardy, please get pre-approved for an excused absence by the Dean of Student Life.
