Richmond Tree Stewards

This is the fourth tree planting of this planting season for the Swansboro West Tree Planting project. This planting will focus along McRand Street and Larne Avenue in Swansboro West. The meeting spot will be at the small triangle at the intersection of Larne Avenue and Peyton Avenue. We are planning for 16 trees for the this planting. Again this year, Richmond Parks and Rec. have offered to auger the holes for us so that should make digging much easier, but we need experienced tree stewards to help prepare the root balls and supervise neighborhood volunteers so it is not all hard labor.
