Swansboro West February Tree Planting

This is the fifth tree planting of this planting season for the Swansboro West Tree Planting project. This planting will focus in the median of Darden Road between Midlothian Turnpike and Larchmont Lane in Swansboro West. The meeting spot will be in that median at the intersection of Darden Road and Larchmont Lane. We are planning for 15 trees for the this planting. Again this year, Richmond Parks and Rec. have offered to auger the holes for us so that should make digging much easier, but we need experienced tree stewards to help prepare the root balls and supervise neighborhood volunteers so it is not all hard labor.
