Quarterly Meeting: Green Infrastructure: Bioswales and Stormwater Management at Richmond Public Libraries
Monday, June 10 2024
Stormwater runoff poses a major threat to the health of the James River. We'll take a look at how a collaborative effort to reduce stormwater runoff, provide habitat for pollinators and expand tree canopy at our public libraries is taking shape. We will gather in the North Avenue Library Meeting Room (2901 North Ave., Richmond 23222) then walk outside for a tour. Presenters are Justin Doyle, James River Association's Director of Community Conservation, and Richmond Tree Steward Karen Link. Parking available, refreshments provided. Your attendance counts as 1.5 Tree Steward educational credits.
