In September 2023, urban forests in the United States got a major boost of funding by Congress for tree planting and maintenance through the Biden-Harris administration Inflation Reduction Act to bring more equitable outcomes to communities suffering from low tree canopy. One year later, this webinar will highlight several projects and the range of actions localities are taking to direct these funds where needed most. Please join us to learn more about the $1.5 billion priority investment the USDA Forest Service has made through its unique Urban and Community Forestry Program.
