Hang Tough Foundation

We’re gearing up for our Chicken Pilau Event with an authentic Old Florida flair, and we need you to help volunteer. For those of you who are wondering, A chicken pilau (pronounced "per-lo") is a traditional Southern gathering. It centers around the preparation and serving of chicken pilau, a savory rice dish made by simmering chicken with rice, onions, and seasonings in a large, communal pot. At a chicken pilau, the atmosphere is casual and community-focused with families and friends coming together to share a meal. With all proceeds benefitting Hang Tough Foundation.

Volunteers will assist with event management including set-up, tear down, and supervising and maintaining food and drink tables
