Classical Enhancement Night
Tuesday, September 17 2024
Classical Enhancement Night is a time to deepen MCA's partnership with parents by addressing felt-needs, sharing practical tools to get the most out of this school year.
There will be four separate offerings for MCA families. MCA encourages families to attend the session that most pertains to their needs.
MCA will give 1 service hour for attending each meeting!
Parents may attend the same session or divide and conquer and attend separate sessions.
New Student Townhall (7th Grade and new students)
Study Hall (New Building)
Jared Nelson will share practical advice about revisions, checking grades, communicating with tutors, etc. as you help your student transition to and thrive in MCA's Upper School.
High School Profile (8th Grade)

Biblical Vision for Sex and Identity: How MCA partners w parents to encourage students to pursue God's best (9th-10th Grade - or any interested parent)
Room A5 (New Building)
There is much confusion in today's culture surrounding sex, sexuality, and gender identity, which often positions itself as an authority on these topics. MCA seeks to teach students that the Bible is the ultimate authority. Brandon Shuman will present MCA's renewed strategies for promoting God's vision for life in these arenas. Parents will also be invited to share their own effective strategies. This session aims to offer encouragement and support for parents who are the primary educators of their children.
Launch and Legacy (11th-12th Grade)
Library
Stephanie Goeke will empower parents with practical wisdom about how to finish MCA well and prepare for what's next. Topics will include navigating the junior year, applying to college, and encouraging your senior as he/she prepares for their Thesis.
