William E. Christoffersen Salt Lake Veterans Nursing Home

The Veterans Home is an 81 bed home that offers multiple volunteer opportunities including one-on-ones and outings. We provide services to our residents that assist in maintaining social,physical, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual outlets that promote independence and life satisfaction. Daily activities are designed to satisfy the mind and body, and community activities help build friendships and promote a true sense of belonging.

Volunteers are an important part of the nursing home. They are people around the community who freely give their talents and time to improve the lives of the men and women who served our country. Volunteers enhance our quality of services with the thoughtful support, attention, and companionship that comes from the desire to serve others. While volunteers give their time without compensation, value will come from the awareness that you play a great role in providing meaning to our lives.
