Raritan Headwaters Association

Raritan Headwaters Association has partnered with Far Hills Borough to improve the riparian buffer along the North Branch Raritan River in Far Hills and will be planting 150 native trees and shrubs along the riverbank on October 14th from 10:00am – 1:00pm.

RHA is seeking volunteers to help plant these trees and install tree protection to prevent deer browse. RHA and Far Hills Borough will be pre-drilling holes for the trees, so no to very minimal digging will be necessary during the planting. If you are interested in joining us, please pre-register to help us with our planning efforts. Dress for the weather and working in an area that can be wet.

The Event will be held at the Far Hills Fairgrounds where the VNA rummage sale occurs and there is plenty of parking, as well as a restroom option.
