Tomorrow River Community Charter School

It's our annual classroom move-in and we need your help! Because we share spaces with CWES, every summer we need to move all of our classroom furniture and supplies into storage on and off campus to make way for campers. This requires a ton of volunteer help. Volunteers should be prepared for a lot of physical work including walking, lifting, and loading/unloading. Dress appropriately and bring water and snacks for your family. Older children who are willing and able to help are welcome to come as well. Younger children who require supervision are not a good fit for this volunteer opportunity as there will be a lot of activity and vehicles moving about campus.

We could also use a few extra trucks, vans, and trailers to help move things across campus and from our storage units in Amherst Junction. If you can provide this service AND help lift things, please sign up for both the Move-In shift AND the truck/Trailer shift for the same time. Otherwise, we will only count you as a truck/van/trailer operator and not a physical mover. This will help us understand our workforce.

The shifts are 2 hours but you are welcome to sign up for as many as you would like. This is a great way to work towards your family's goal of 40 hours of volunteering per year. Remember, you can turn in volunteer hours for every family member that participates.
