Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

We will hold our monthly invasive-removal and park cleanup at the Dominion Hills/Four Mile Run site this Friday, Dec. 20 from 10:00-12:00, and we'd love to have you to join us.
We will be dragging some brush piles away from the walking path and attacking porcelainberry, wineberry, and multiflora rose (assuming the ground isn't frozen).
Gather at the corner by the address 1000 Patrick Henry Dr., Arlington. Look for the "Volunteers" sign. There's plenty of street parking.
Wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy, close-toed shoes. Dress for the weather. Bring gloves and hand tools, if you have them. Otherwise we will have tools you can borrow.
Full disclosure: There is some poison ivy on the site, but we have lots of Ivy-X wipes in case you accidentally encounter some.
Bring water for yourself. We will have light snacks.
