Dress warm, bring your favorite winter tree ID book, and join fellow TS deciding whether that bark is more oak or maple, and just what bud that is. THIS IS NOT A TREE WALK with knowledgeable leader but a practice time to learn with/from others. We TS planted a dozen trees here in 2023 so we know what species are where thus we can learn the budding and bark of young trees.
