Help get rid of the invasive plants in Grandma’s Creek Park, a neighborhood park that is an branch of Glencarlyn Park in South Arlington. Grandma’s Creek runs above ground in the park starting below 4th St S, and ends where it runs into Four Mile Run at 7th St S. WE WILL MEET AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION FOR DECEMBER. We are going to work on removing invasive plants on the west side of the park, at the end of 6th St S, off of S Abingdon St. For directions purposes the house address closest to where we are working is 4729 6th St S. Dress for protection from the weather, as well as prickly undergrowth, and bring drinking water. There are some steep areas and lots of dead tree limbs to climb over, so sturdy shoes are recommended.
