Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

Fort Barnard Park is in Arlington's Hot Zone and Marymount University has raised money to plant and care for more trees as part of their community service. TS are needed to work with and supervise students doing the planting of 30 root bag trees -- hopefully students will do the heavy lifting but be prepared to assist. Arlington Forestry is providing all equipment and Marymount is providing lunch -- but do bring your favorite equipment, water, and snacks. There is no bathroom at park but we can set up a shuttle to Jennie Dean Park (5 minute drive) at the midpoint. Meet at 2101 S. Pollard St. with set up near the Basketball Court.
