Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria

The drought doesn't seem to have slowed down the bad stuff, in fact it seems to thrive in heat. We need to clear vines around cages, liberate trees, yank out mile-a-minute...... maybe water the new whips if we don't get rain by then--plenty to do. The temps should be letting up.
We will be meeting up at the park entrance next to street address 1000 Patrick Henry Drive (Arlington). Plenty of free street parking is available.
Wear long sleeves, long pants, closed-toed shoes, gloves (if you have them), and bring water for yourself. We will have light snacks and some gloves & tools to share if you need them.
