Work with Public Law Center family law attorneys on a variety of family law issues for low-income clients. Students will conduct research and write pleadings for family law proceedings and will be provided with training regarding domestic violence restraining orders, guardianships, custody and visitation, and other family law matters. Students may also have the opportunity to observe court proceedings depending on court reopening. Student should have strong research and writing skills and a desire to provide access to justice to underserved populations who cannot afford attorneys.
Estimated time commitment: 4 hours minimum per week
