Draft Rent Stabilization Ordinance - Public Law Center
Friday, April 22 2022
In the past year, a city council in Orange County passed a rent stabilization ordinance. Currently they are the only jurisdiction (out of 34) in Orange County with rent stabilization. A resident of another city in California came to Public Law Center seeking to introduce a rent stabilization ordinance in her city and would like assistance drafting the proposal. The student will work with Public Law Center attorneys to draft a proposal for this individual to introduce to her city council. If there is time, the student could also draft a model rent stabilization ordinance that we might be able to use with other jurisdictions in Orange County.
