Atlanta Legal Aid Society Gender-Affirming Name Change Project 6/26/23–6/30/23

Under the supervision of an attorney, students assist with gender-affirming name changes, birth certificate amendments, and gender marker changes.
You may complete intake and screening, draft documents and pleadings, and conduct legal research as needed.
Project Requires Mandatory Training. Spring training was scheduled for January. If you were previously trained, you need not redo the training before volunteering. If you have not been trained for Atlanta Legal Aid projects, please reach out to probono@gsu.edu.
