This training is for N.E.S.T. volunteers who want to volunteer at the Buxton Staging Site during cold stun events.

The first part of training will start off in the classroom with an overview of cold stun events and volunteer opportunities for cold stun season. Volunteers will then run through a drill in small groups. Each group will practice various stages of processing turtles through the staging site (documenting the turtle, completing stranding reports, preparing for transport, etc.).

Note: Volunteers should complete a N.E.S.T. volunteer application if they have not already.
