Richmond Tree Stewards

Restoration has long been a topic of interest for our general audience and generates many questions. What do you do with the land area after invasive plant removal? Leave it alone and see what comes up? Plant specific natives? How do you start? This webinar will explore the different actions you can take depending on the time of year and the location of the specific area in question.

We will be joined by guest speaker Maddie Bright who is the the Executive Director at Earth Sangha, a wild plant nursery which leads one of Virginia's most comprehensive efforts to propagate native plants directly from local forests and meadows. Earth Sangha also operates a volunteer-based program to propagate local native plants, restore native plant communities, and control invasive plants.

There will be a Q&A with audience questions at the end of the program.
