About

The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden (5.5 acres) is a rose garden located at the intersection of Naglee Avenue and Dana Avenue, San Jose, California, in the Rose Garden neighborhood. It is open to the public daily without charge. The garden was awarded the title of "America's Best Rose Garden" in a national competition sponsored by the All-America Rose Selections (AARS) and features a stunning variety of roses. In addition, it is one of just a few test gardens throughout the USA that grows "the Roses of the Future" prior to public introduction. An active group of Master Volunteers takes care of day-to-day activities at the Rose Garden, including deadheading, weeding and more. Click on the "Visit Site" link, above, to see all of the available volunteer activities and news about the garden.
